What is going on at Arrows?

At Hockenheim the Arrows team was running as normal - and no-one was quite sure why. Those who knew the answers were either not saying or not to be believed (an increasing problem in the F1 world these days). Tom Walkinshaw has been saying that he is looking for new investment and our sources say that he is now close to concluding a deal which will keep the team in business - but what is not clear is whether Walkinshaw himself will be part of the new organization. Obviously things have progressed since the Magny-Cours stand-off between Walkinshaw and his partners in the team, Morgan Grenfell, or the pressure that has been brought to bear on the team from the FIA has decided the team on a new course of action.

One way or another we believe a solution is coming and all the indications are that the jobs of the current employees will be secured - the major worry of most of the people concerned.
