Russell on the move?
THERE are rumors from Jaguar Racing that chief designer John Russell has moved on after a frustrating time sorting out the R3 chassis. Russell, a 41-year-old Williams-trained engineer has been in charge of design at Jaguar since he joined the operation at the end of 1999 when the technical operation was being run by Gary Anderson.
Russell was one of the few to survive the technical reshuffle at the end of 2000 he remained chief designer under the new technical director Steve Nichols in 2001.
The news has yet to be confirmed.
