Webber tries an alternative sport

MARK WEBBER is off today to France to join up with the Tour de France at Reims to see how the really tough men go racing. Webber, who says that he was inspired by the exploits of American cyclist Lance Armstrong, who has dominated the Tour in recent years, will spend a few days following the Tour with one of the teams before heading for the French GP at Magny-Cours.

Those with long memories will remember that Alain Prost was a great fan of cycling and even competed in some of the mountain stages on the Tour on one occasion.
