McLaren drivers to use liquid-cooled suits for pit crew
THE West McLaren Mercedes Team will introduce new temperature controlled suits for the pit crew. The 28 members of the team will be wearing "torso cooling" systems in their all-weather pit gear, which has been the subject of some amusement to rival teams this year. The team will also be wearing full-face helmets. The system is based on a series of tubes inside the material and has been developed in league with the European Space program.
