Cosworth to limit engine supply to two customers
COSWORTH RACING can supply three teams next year: Jaguar and two customers. The engines are currently being provided to Arrows but both Jordan and Minardi have been named as possible customers for the engines in 2003. It remains to be seen whether all three teams will still be in action next year but the lack of available engines is not going to help matters. The only option for customer teams other than the expensive Ferrari units is to buy the Asiatech V10s which are not exactly competitive at the moment. Minardi is benefiting this year from a free supply of the French engines but it is believed that Asiatech is looking for money for next year.
