Something to get excited about

ACCORDING to a study by the London-based marketing company Arksports, the amount of money being spent on sports sponsorships will continue to grow and will reach $20bn a year by the end of 2010. That would be an increase of almost 43% over the amount of money spent in sport in 1999.

The growth will be across the board but the developed markets of Europe and America will enjoy less growth than in Asia.

Marketing surveys are notorious for their lack of accuracy but it is good news if you are a marketing man...
