New (old) faces at the BRDC

THE British Racing Drivers' Club, which owns Silverstone, has recently revamped its board of directors somewhat under the chairmanship of Martin Brundle. David Brodie, a longtime saloon car racer and one of the original directors of Williams Grand Prix Engineering, and Ian Wagstaff have stood down and their places on the board have been taken by Mark Blundell and by Jackie Oliver. Both men are former Grand Prix drivers and Oliver spent more than 20 years running the Arrows F1 team before selling it to Tom Walkinshaw.
