Recognition for Jacky Ickx

FORMER Grand Prix driver and multiple Le Mans 24 Hours winner Jacky Ickx has been the Clerk of the Course for the Monaco Grand Prix for 20 years and recently he was recognized for this work by the Monaco Government which made him an Officer in the Order of Saint Charles. Ickx was presented with his award recently by Michel Boeri, the president of the Automobile Club de Monaco.

Now 58, Ickx has done only a few events since he retired from circuit racing in 1986. He went on to a career in raid rallying, including one victory on the Paris-Dakar, before hanging up his helmet in 1992.
