Formula 1 gets more profile in the US

IT is a slow process but Formula 1 is beginning to get more coverage in the United States. The Spanish Grand Prix (dull though it was) was given a quarter of a page in the influential New York Times. There was even a photograph of the incident in the Williams pit involving Juan Pablo Montoya. This, allied to 15 paragraphs of copy, was more coverage than F1 has had in the United States for many a year and dwarfed the latest NASCAR report which warranted just three paragraphs.
