A new Sporting Director of BAR?
BRITISH AMERICAN RACING is rumored to be about to get a new sporting director as part of the restructuring going on under the new management of David Richards. The team does not really have anyone in that role at the moment and as Richards prefers to keep a "hands-off" approach it is a position which needs to be filled.
The word from Germany is that the job could be going to Guido Piedade, who currently works for the AMG company. If the name sounds familiar it is because Piedade is the son of well-known motor racing "fixer" and AMG stalwart Domingos Piedade.
