Renault Sport bicycles?
THE Renault company has decided to extend the use of its Renault Sport name beyond the realms of motor racing and is to launch a range of electric, folding bicycles bearing the name. The bicycles are being built in Taiwan by the Giant group. The Renault company currently sells 8,000 bicycles a year but hopes that "Renault Sport" will pump up the volume and make a bigger impression in a market which is reputedly around 15m bikes a year.
