Skating on thin ice...

A couple of weeks ago Eddie Irvine won a law suit in Britain over the illegal use of his image to promote the sales of a project he was not officially endorsing. This was a breakthrough judgement. The Thomson Automotive Art company was obviously not paying much attention when the decision came along as it has been running a series of adverts on a Formula 1 website using the images of Adrian Newey, Ron Dennis, Max Mosley, Bernie Ecclestone, Jean Todt, Jackie Stewart and Rubens Barrichello to promote its products. Oops.
