Family fortunes

IF you thought that Formula 1 was getting out of hand having two competitive Schumacher brothers in the same series, you had better watch out because in Formula 3000 this year there are going to be three members of the Sperafico family. Ricardo Sperafico will drive for the Petrobras Junior Team (and is expected to do some testing work for BMW Williams as well) while his identical twin brother Rodrigo has signed up to race for the Durango team. Now their cousin Alex has done a deal to race for the European Minardi operation, having completed his apprenticeship in Barber Dodge racing in the United States.
