Schumacher attacks Walkinshaw over Verstappen
WORLD CHAMPION Michael Schumacher said he was sad that Jos Verstappen lost his Arrows drive at the last minute to Heinz-Harald Frentzen despite the fact that the Dutchman had a contract with Tom Walkinshaw's team.
"Probably it's better to not be employed by a boss with a reputation such as he has for throwing drivers out," Schumacher said. "I believe that Jos now has some very interesting new opportunities and I hope they come true for him."
Schumacher and Verstappen are friends, going baack to 1994 when they were team mates at Benetton (which at the time was being run by Walkinshaw).
