Irvine tells pressmen about "trepidation"
JAGUAR RACING's Eddie Irvine says that he is going into the new F1 season with trepidation because of the problems which the team has been having in pre-season testing.
Jaguar has been trying to solve a major aerodynamic problem and has developed a new front wing which it hopes will save the team from embarrassment in the early races.
"We tried as much as we could before we got here," Irvine said. "It's impossible to say because the car has given us so many problems. We've really got to do a lot of things again, so it depends how successful that is before we can start to make a judgement."
