Jordan admits that it needs more horsepower

EDDIE JORDAN and Honda's Takeo Fukui have admitted in a press conference in Tokyo that the new Honda V10 engine is a bit short of horsepower.

"We're desperate to get more horsepower out of it," said Jordan. "Honda engineers have work to do and we have work to do."

Fukui admitted that in early testing Honda has not been able to run the engine as quickly as it would like to do because of reliability worries.

"We will take whatever measures are necessary," he said.
