One F1 man hires another

CART has long been the home for former Formula 1 people and this week Keith Wiggins, once the boss of the Pacific Grand Prix team, has taken another old F1 man across the Atlantic to be team manager of Herdez Competition (the team that was formerly known as Bettenhausen). Brian Lambert, who for many years was the head of the Williams test team, will take on the role, running a Lola-Ford for Mario Dominguez.

Lambert has been in semi-retirement for the last two seasons, enjoying time off sailing and seeing how he enjoyed the sport from a distance but he admits that he found this rather boring and wanted to get back into the sport.
