Jordan announces partnership with Damovo
JORDAN GRAND PRIX announced a three year partnership with communications solutions company Damovo Wednesday. Damovo was formerly Ericsson Enterprise, but was rebranded in late 2001 as the company has been making a move towards industrial networking for manufacturing and other businesses.
The Domavo logo will be run on the EJ12, as well as on the race suits of team drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato, and the company will work with Jordan to create state of the art communications systems.
Jordan Grand Prix is set to announce its title sponsor in Brussels on Friday, which is rumored to be DHL. Jordan's largest financial backer, Deutsche Post, owns a controlling interest in the international shipping company.
Previous title sponsor Benson & Hedges is slowly decreasing it's level of sponsorship, as the it looks like tobacco advertising in the sport will be dead after 2006.
