Car manufacturers cause Turin Motor Show to be cancelled

TIMES are tough in the car industry at the moment and on Monday the organizers of the 69th Turin Motor Show announced that the show in April is to be cancelled because most of the big car manufacturers have pulled out. Industry analysts are predicting a big reduction in automobile profits despite good sales figures because of the large amount of discounting that has been going on in recent months. Faced with such gloomy predictions the car industry is tightening its belt.
