Fisichella crashes EJ12 in Valencia
GIANCARLO FISICHELLA was unhurt after a considerable accident during Thursday morning testing in Valencia. The Italian spun into the gravel in a Jordan EJ12 and hit the barrier with the rear of the 2002-spec car.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the team, as is whether or not they can repair the car in Spain. Fisichella, who led all drivers in yesterday's session, may continue testing in the afternoon.
Another interesting note from Valencia, newly announced Arrows driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen will be behind the wheel of the new A23, taking over testing duties from teammate Enrique Bernoldi.
A full testing report will follow.
