Ferrari and Advanced Micro Devices
FERRARI has signed a new sponsorship agreement with the semiconductor manufacturer Advanced Micro Devices Inc. The company is one of the leading producers of micro-circuitry devices for the computer and mobile telephone businesses. The deal with Ferrari is in part a straight sponsorship but will also involve an element of technical involvement helping the team with microprocessor units to keep down the weight of onboard electronic systems.
