Encouraging test for Jaguar
WHILE there was much attention being paid to the departure of Steve Nichols, Pedro De la Rosa continued to test the new Jaguar R3 in Barcelona, with somewhat encouraging results. The Spaniard's best lap time Monday was 1m19.54s, the fastest lap of the circuit for the troubled R3 since testing began a month ago, and four seconds faster than De la Rosa's best lap Saturday in Barcelona.
It is difficult to read much from testing times, but it seems that the modified front wing parts fitted to Jaguar's new chassis are better than the original configuration.
