Another Japanese star on the horizon

FRENCH FORMULA 3 Champion Ryo Fukuda had his first taste of a BAR-Honda on Saturday in Valencia while Takuma Sato continues his learning process with Jordan Grand Prix. Now another Japanese name is set to emerge from the junior formulae, Formula Dream Champion Shinya Hosokawa having signed to race for Carlin Motorsport in the British Formula 3 Championship. Carlin took Takuma Sato to the title last year.

Hosokawa will join Australian James Courtney, Ulsterman Michael Keohane and South Africa's Alan Van der Merwe.

Formula Dream is a Honda-supported promotional championship in Japan.
