Minardi to Valencia

THE newly-renamed KL Minardi Asiatech team won't be traveling to Barcelona with the rest of the F1 circus this week, but will instead begin its pre-season program at Valencia on January 15.

Although rumors abound that a deal has been struck with Australian F3000 driver Mark Webber - this may be a little premature as youngsters Antonio Garcia, Franck Montagny and Matteo Bobbi are all down for a turn in next week's test.
