Newey up for Design Award
MCLAREN designer Adrian Newey has been nominated for the prestigious Prince Philip Designer Prize, which recognizes the career achievements of individuals involved in the world of design. Newey was nominated for the award by the institute of Engineering Design and faces competition from a variety of individuals from different spheres including fashion designer Paul Smith. The winner will be decided by His Royal Highness Prince Philip. The award is run by The Design Council.
Newey is no stranger to The Design Council having won an award from that organization back in the mid 1980s for his work on March CART designs.
