Another famous name

THE current trend is for sons of famous 1970s drivers to try to make their way in the sport. After Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve we are now seeing a young Piquet, a brace of Scheckters, a new Fabi and another Rosberg. To this list can now be added a second generation Lauda.

According to reports in Germany, Matthias Lauda intends to start racing next year in Spain, where he has been living in recent years. The 20-year-old is expected to try his hand in Spanish national racing and says that one day he would like to race in F1. although he admits that matching his father's record is not going to be easy.
