Toyota announces AOL Time Warner sponsorship

TOYOTA MOTORSPORT announced during the launch of their TF102 Monday, that AOL Time Warner has become an official team partner. The deal means that the AOL Time Warner corporate logo will be displayed on each side of Toyota's 2002 contender.

Toyota Motorsport president, Ove Andersson, said of the deal, "We are honored to have them as our sponsor, but at the same time we feel some pressure to live up to their expectations". He added, "That a leading global corporation like AOL Time Warner backs our team is proof of the high expectation of our Formula 1 activities".

Some of the companies that the US based media giant is comprised of are America Online, Time Warner Cable, Warner Bros. film entertainment, and the Warner Music Group.

Toyota announced earlier in the week that they have agreed to a deal with cosmetics and fragrance supplier Wella. The Wella logo will be displayed on the nose and rear wing end plates of the TF102.
