Morgan Grenfell sues EM.TV
IT may be ancient history in the fast-moving world of Formula 1 but it is worth mentioning that Morgan Grenfell Private Equity investors are suing EM.TV in an effort to recover some of the money which was lost after EM.TV's shares tumbled last year. MGPE sold its shares in SLEC, the Formula One holding company, for EM.TV shares but the value of these was wiped out when the EM.TV share price collapsed. It is not thought likely that the claim will be successful as MGPE could have sold the shares but the fact that there are likely to be criminal charges against the Haffa Brothers may give the case some credibility.
