Ford and Bridgestone look for a deal

FORD and Bridgestone-Firestone have had talks about re-establishing a relationship which broke down some months ago over who was to blame for a series of accidents which resulted in a series of deaths in the US and a string of law suits. Both companies have suffered badly from the publicity and one of the reasons for Jac Nasser's departure from Ford is believed to have been the Bridgestone/Firestone problem.

The news is good news for both firms as the breaking up of the relationship cost them both huge sums of money.
