Melbourne inquest to begin on December 3

THE inquest into the death of a marshal at this year's Australian Grand Prix is due to open in Melbourne on Monday, December 3 and our sources in Australia say that it is likely to last a couple of weeks at the most as the coroner hears various depositions about the accident. If all goes according to plan the verdict should therefore be out before Christmas which will mean that there is no threat to the 2002 Melbourne Grand Prix. The race is currently provisional pending the inquest.
