Frentzen signs for Arrows!

OUR spies at Leafield tell us that Heinz-Harald Frentzen has put to pen to paper on an Arrows contract for 2002. This is likely to cause a few ructions on the driver market as it will mean that Prost will be out looking for a new team leader and Arrows is going to have to work out how Jos Verstappen and Frentzen fit in (or not as the case may be) with Red Bull favorite Enrique Bernoldi.

It is not yet clear for how long Frentzen has signed but it is unlikely to be less than two seasons as this is the length of the Ford engine deal and it makes sense to keep at least one driver for the whole program.

Confirmation of the signing is expected when the FIA entry list is published.
