Davidson pulls out of Macau

BRITISH AMERICAN RACING test driver Anthony Davidson has pulled out of the Macau Grand Prix and is now facing several weeks in which he will be unable to do any running in racing cars following a crash in practice on Thursday. Davidson suffered a small fracture to a vertebrae and tore some ligaments in his neck.

The accident could mean that Davidson will miss the first tests of the 2002 season which begin at the start of January.
