Pro-F1 Ford executive gets new job in Japan
RICHARD PARRY-JONES, Ford's Vice President for product development, is a busy man but his tasks, which include keeping an eye on the Jaguar Racing Formula 1 program, have just been expanded with the announcement that he is to be the new head of the Mazda Motor Corporation in Japan. Ford owns a third of the company and effectively runs operations at Mazda.
It remains to be seen how Parry-Jones will cope with all his jobs but there is no doubt that he will have less time available for F1 in the future as there is a lot of work needed to rebuild Mazda.
