Silverstone boosts revenues with motorcycle races

SILVERSTONE is to host rounds of the World Superbike and motorcycle Endurance World Championships next year. The track has already staged a superbike event but will now add the endurance event, taking the place of Donington Park. The international motorcycle federation has confirmed that Britain will have one round of the World Motorcycle Championships at Donington Park on July 14 (traditionally the Formula 1 British GP weekend) with two Superbike races: the first at Silverstone on May 26 and the second at Brands Hatch on July 28. The endurance event will be at Silverstone on May 19.
