GM boss Wagoner was at Indianapolis

IT has emerged that amongst those present at the recent United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis was none other than the president of General Motors Richard Wagoner Jr. who took over the running of the vast American car company a little over a year ago.

Wagoner is one of the youngest chief executives ever to have headed the world's biggest car company and has shown a desire to revamp the giant and adopt new ideas. We understand that GM has not made any firm decisions about entering F1 but has developed some ideas of ways to go forward and has had low-profile talks with several teams with which it might be willing to deal in the years ahead.
