It is decision time in Germany
THE joint FIA and AIT Congresses takes place this week in Cologne, Germany. The series of meetings will include a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council and then on Friday the FIA elections. This will see Max Mosley re-elected FIA President. He will have a completely new World Motor Sport Council after the election and this new body will begin making its decisions in December.
It is anticipated that Mosley will institute a series of reforms within the FIA with the pre-election implication being that this will include new deputies being put in charge of automobile and sporting activities, allowing Mosley more time for his political campaigns on behalf of the FIA.
