Jordan to fight Frentzen writ
JORDAN GRAND PRIX says that it will fight a writ served by Heinz-Harald Frentzen in the High Court in London. The writ is claiming damages from the team resulting from the German's firing by the team after the British GP. Frentzen has shown conclusively that he is capable of driving Grand Prix cars, qualifying fourth for the Belgian GP at Spa and so it will be interesting to see how the case develops or whether the current talk is all sabre-rattling and there will be an out-of-court settlement.
It is not in the interest of the team to have its dirty linen washed in public but than again Eddie Jordan was never very good at parting with his money...
