Frentzen files Jordan claim?

ACCORDING to the German media Heinz-Harald Frentzen has begun the legal action against Jordan Grand Prix that has been promised since his abrupt dismissal prior to the German Grand Prix.

If rumor is to be believed the former Sauber and Williams driver who took two victories with Jordan on his way to third place in the 1999 championship, is suing for $7.5 million compensation on the termination of his contract, which came shortly after Frentzen announced his intention to stay with the team until 2003.

Frentzen believed to be suing for the wages he would have earned with Jordan in 2002, for although he has a drive with Prost for the remainder of this season his movements at the end of the year are unclear.
