Enge to stay with Prost

TOMAS ENGE is expected to finish the season with Prost Grand Prix following a promising debut at Monza. The Czech driver drove a sensible race to finish 12th and Alain Prost reported that he was "very satisfied with the work he has done this weekend". Although Luciano Burti is up and about again the doctors are keen that he does not race again for a while just in case he has another big accident which could cause him very serious problems.

Enge's appearance in the car is backed up by some finance from his backers. Prost has an option on Enge's services for next season but is now waiting to see if he can get all the finances sorted out.

At Monza Prost was keeping close company with Saudi Arabian Prince Khalid bin al Waleed, who is rumored to be buying into the team. The prince was accompanied to Monza by one of his financial advisors and our spies say that the deal is now being completed with the paperwork taking the time to be finalized.

The team would like to keep Heinz-Harald Frentzen but cannot make the German driver an offer until it has sorted out its budget for next year.
