Mugello test continues

FERRARI's Rubens Barrichello set the pace on the second day of testing at the picturesque Mugello circuit in Italy.

The Brazilian was almost a second faster than Ferrari's official test driver, Luca Badoer, who managed a time of 1m 25.275s during his 83 laps.

Sauber's Nick Heidfeld clocked the third fastest time on a 1m 25.581s in 88 laps spent checking out aerodynamics and tire wear, followed by Jarno Trulli in the Jordan, Jacques Villeneuve's BAR in fifth, Jean Alesi's Jordan sixth (a second off Trulli) and Takuma Sato making a rare appearance for BAR logging the seventh fastest time ahead of Andrea Piccini's Minardi.
