Another star drops in to Maranello

KEVIN GARNETT, the $20 million per year star of NBA team the Minnesota Timberwolves, has visited the Maranello factory, home of Ferrari.

The visit came about through his personal sponsors, and Garnett was accompanied not only by an ESPN film crew but also a large number of friends, family members and management.

Ferrari laid out a Maserati 3200GT road car of the Prancing Horse's sister marque that was decked out in Timberwolves colors and bore Garnett's name. "You are all too kind and I am overcome," he said with a slight air of embarrassment.

Garnett, however, soon took more of a shine to the Ferrari 360 supercar. "Look at this guys, it's got the same gearshift as a Formula 1 car. This is my favorite!" he exclaimed.
