Bruni wins at Donington

FORMULA 1 aspirant Gianmaria Bruni spent the British GP weekend meeting F1 team bosses and he followed this up with his first Formula 3 victory at the weekend at Donington Park. Bruni was able to take advantage of a collision between regular frontrunners (and team mates) Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson. Both men went out as a result of their brush and Bruni went ahead. He then had to hold off a determined challenge from Jaguar's Andre Lotterer.

Sato won the second event, his eighth victory of the year and now looks to be almost guaranteed of the title. Derek Hayes is 63 points behind while there is a battle for third place involving Davidson and Jaguar racers Lotterer and James Courtney.
