McLaren top times in Monza test
MCLAREN topped the times in the second day of testing at Monza on Wednesday, but it was test driver Alexander Wurz who outpaced title challenger David Coulthard.
Coulthard, who is now 31 points behind Michael Schumacher in the championship standings, finished more than one-tenth of a second down on Wurz, who posted a quickest lap time of one minute and 23.838 seconds.
Jaguar's Eddie Irvine pulled out of the test after complaining of neck injuries although his place in next week's British Grand Prix is not under threat.
Sauber driver Nick Heidfeld was second quickest behind Wurz while Jaguar's Pedro de la Rosa and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, of Jordan, ended fourth and fifth quickest respectively.
Test drivers Darren Manning (BAR), Andre Lotterer (Jaguar) and Ricardo Zonta (Jordan) were also on duty but finished well off the pace.
