Button believes Webber will make it

BENETTON's on-loan star Jenson Button has backed his team's Australian test driver Mark Webber to go all the way into Formula One.

Webber, who at the age of 24 is actually three years Button's senior, is fighting in the Formula 3000 championship this season as well as testing for Benetton.

And Button, who believes Webber has the qualities to take him into Grand Prix racing, said: "He is going to be in Formula One - there is no doubt about that.

"He is a great guy and he is a very physical guy," continued Button. "He hasn't tested the new car yet but he has been very good in the old one."

Webber will be testing for Benetton alongside Button at Barcelona for three days starting on Tuesday as they continue to test the developments introduced at Magny-Cours.
