Schumacher sets Fiorano record
MICHAEL SCHUMACHER set a new lap record at the Fiorano circuit for Ferrari on Thursday, just one day after Luca Badoer had set the top time.
German Schumacher set the fastest lap of 59.478 seconds after completing 65 laps working on traction control and brake testing.
Rubens Barrichello was half a second slower with a time of 59.940 seconds and undertook 75 laps of tire testing. Luca Badoer will return to Fiorano to test alongside Schumacher on Friday.
