Barrichello hopeful suspension problem is solved

BRAZILIAN Rubens Barrichello is confident that his testing work at Fiorano last week will ensure that there is no repeat of the suspension problem that ended his Spanish Grand Prix during this weekend's Austrian race.

Barrichello was forced out of the race and almost certainly denied a podium finish when his suspension failed at two-thirds race distance in Barcelona.

But the Ferrari driver believes the problem is now rectified and he is looking to better his third place finish in 2000 by landing his first win of the season at the A1-Ring.

"We have been working hard in Fiorano and I hope the problem from the last race is behind us now," Barrichello said. "We have some new things to try on the car for Austria which will hopefully keep us well up in the development race between the front running teams."
