Frentzen - Barcelona is less of a challenge

GERMAN Heinz-Harald Frentzen has said that the Circuit de Catalunya will provide less of a challenge for the drivers this weekend but conceded that team mechanics will have their work cut out on the demanding Barcelona circuit.

Frentzen warned that backroom staff will face a big aerodynamic challenge despite the fact that extensive testing on the track means that drivers are well prepared for the race.

"I enjoy Barcelona, but because we test here so often I know the track well and the racing is less of a challenge," Frentzen said.

"It's a demanding circuit and you need to be fit to race well. It's one of the faster tracks, with quick corners where aerodynamics play a key role. It's a technical challenge."
