Jordan team members to run London marathon

THREE Jordan team members will run this weekend's London marathon, to prove that driver Jarno Trulli is not the only long-distance runner among the Silverstone-based team's ranks.

Dominic Harlow (Heinz-Harald Frentzen's assistant race engineer), Andy Stevenson (test team chief mechanic) and Dave Moore (model shop technician) will run with Neil Paplow (a friend of the team) in the London marathon on Sunday.

The quartet will run in aid of Jordan's nominated charity CLIC (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood). This comes after Trulli ran in last year's New York marathon.

Harlow revealed that he has an added incentive as he prepares to tackle the 26.2 mile course across England's capital.

"I'm looking forward to the challenge and just aim to do my best and enjoy myself," said Harlow. "I would like to complete the distance within four hours as this was Jarno's time in the New York marathon last year, and we've got a sportsman's bet on me beating his time."
