Michael says brother Ralf is the main threat from Williams

ON the eve of the San Marino Grand Prix meeting, World Champion Michael Schumacher signalled that his main concern from the Williams-BMW camp was his brother Ralf and not Juan Pablo Montoya, the man who overtook and led him in the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.

"That move was good, but you need more than one passing manoeuvre to be World Champion," Schumacher is quoted as saying in today's MOTORSPORT NEWS newspaper. "You just have to look at the times - Montoya was eight-tenths slower than my brother."

The point was also made that Montoya has been outqualified by Ralf Schumacher at all three circuits on the F1 calendar so far this year, even though they were circuits at which the Colombian driver had no previous experience.

Montoya believes that Imola this weekend could be a different story as he raced there previously at the wheel of a Formula 3000 car.

"Imola is the first track I really know," he said. "At Brazil we proved what we can do and I am looking forward to giving it another go."
