Tarso's blue move

TARSO MARQUES has decided to give the Brazilian journalists something to write about this week by appearing with his hair dyed blue. Marques is not the first Formula 1 driver to go in for strange hair coloring, following in the footsteps of Jacques Villeneuve and Eddie Irvine, not to mention others who had unfortunate encounters with bottles while trying to hide their greying hairs.

The most successful exponent of hair dye in Grand Prix racing was - without question - Philippe Alliot who convinced the world that he had dark hair and then went completely white when he retired from F1.

Marques says that a lot of friends wanted him to dye his hair in Brazilian national colors of green and yellow but decided that blue would be cooler...
